BROKERAGE EVENT 2009 ENIAC CALL FOR PROPOSALS

 

The Brokerage Event for the 2009 ENIAC CALL for Proposals was held on Thursday, February 19th, 2009 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel Paris - Charles de Gaulle from 9:30 to 17:00.

The event aimed at facilitating the creation of new consortia and new projects by giving all interested parties the opportunity to meet and to discuss proposals related to the 2009 ENIAC call.

Beginning with a brief introduction to the ENIAC funding tool, the day was continued with working sessions that focused on each of the sub-programmes addressed in the 2009 call. During these working sessions, participants were invited to present project ideas, to provide a sketch of a desired consortium and to make a first outline on the relevance of the project.

The day concluded with a panel consisting of the sub-programme owners and 1 or 2 representatives of AENEAS. Sub-programme owners were asked to present a brief summary of their respective sessions.

An extra session was also added to the agenda in view of the recent decision made by the ENIAC Governing Board which included the possibility for additional small projects in SP2 (Transport and Mobility) and SP4 (Energy and Environment) in the Annual Work Programme for 2009.
